- The silence that comes with a fresh blanket of snow

- The refreshment that I feel after finishing a good devotion
- Watching my son adore his daddy, and vice-versa
- Hearing my brother's contagious belly laugh
- Watching my husband dance (you've never seen anything like it, that's for sure!)
- Going to football games
- Going for walks on crisp autumn days
- Playing with kittens

*a nice leather journal

*hearing my children laugh at themselves

Oh, I have lots of favorite things! I love, love coffee with cream; sewing; the piece of cheesecake I had last night from a friend; receiving a handwritten letter; the brief joy of having the laundry folded and put away; watching my family play together on the floor; sitting in front of our fireplace; etc.
I miss you too! Sounds like you are adjusting so wonderfully to a family a three, but I know how busy you are! We could set up a "phone date"!
Dancing around the house and singing 'These Are a Few of My Favorite Things". In fact, my three girls and I love to sing ALL the songs from Sound of Music!
